Online Spectrum of Loss Workshop

Online Spectrum of Loss Workshop

from 80.00

An 8-hour workshop, in 2 parts:

Sunday, November 5, 4:30-7:30pm PST

Sunday, November 12, 4:30-7:30pm PST

"Full Spectrum" Doulas support not only birthing and postpartum families, but families and individuals experiencing a wide range of reproductive experiences, using doula skills to show up for these intense events with compassion, knowledge, and support.

This workshop will focus on building skills that cross the needs for folks experiencing reproductive losses, including abortion, miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, infertility, and more. Participants will come away with enhanced knowledge on the practicalities of each of these losses, how individuals might experience them, most helpful ways to show up as a doula or support person, and how to care for oneself while holding space for others.

Class is held online using the application "Zoom". Recordings will be made for registered students who are unable to attend one class. Attendance at at least one class is highly recommended. Extensive resources will be shared via Google Drive.
